Assistive Technology equipment records are not always well kept and can make future service provision such as equipment adjustments, maintenance, and replacement difficult to manage.
AT LAB can provide an independent assessment of a client’s existing equipment and report on suitability for use with consideration to fit, function, age, condition and serviceability.
Our aim is to provide a high level of clinical assessment, prescription, fitting/adjustments and user education, and to advise on technical supports specific to Assistive Technology users and equipment. We have the skills and experience to assist those with more complex and high cost assistive technology needs that usually require greater levels of support.
AT LAB is committed to making sure that clients get the most out of their Assitive Technology equipment through the provision and coordination of technical supports.
Technical supports may include the adjustment of existing equipment and/or fitting of new components to accommodate changes growth, function and posture.
AT LAB can also provide support with trouble-shooting equipment issues, and the coordination of repairs and maintenance for high complexity and high cost equipment.
